Dod Mill near Lauder offers an array of stunning self-catering accommodation, nestled in the gorgeous grounds of a former grain mill. From our contemporary, eclectic holiday cottages to our unique treehouse cabins, we offer something special for everyone in this magical part of the Scottish Borders.
Our wonderful range of properties all boast stylish, modern interiors, blending seamlessly the industrial heritage of the site with innovative, idiosyncratic touches. The two cottages, the Old Mill and The Bothy, have been beautifully converted from former industrial and agricultural buildings, while the Treehouse Cabin and Fishing hut sit by the river.
Dod Mill can be hired on an exclusive basis, great for events & retreats. We also have The Kiln House, a brilliant studio building that provides communal space for groups. The house offers maximum flexibility, with seating for 10 or a dining area for 12, or a blend of the two.
We are in a superb position for exploring the local area, with lots to do and see for everyone. We are also great for visiting the famous city of Edinburgh or for taking a fun day trip across The English Border. Closer to home, you can explore majestic castles, magnificent country houses, scenic walks or leisurely cycle routes.
