Ilfracombe is the start of the Route 27 Coast-to-coast ride to Plymouth and the South West Coast Path provides wonderful walks with stunning scenery that take your breath away! They often have surfers who lodge here due to being just a short drive away from the sandy surf beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands. It is also just a short walk away from the privately owned Tunnels Beaches which is steeped in Victorian history.
