The spacious manor house offers everything you need for a luxury break in a breathtaking location. The property is stylishly furnished and offers an array of superb facilities for a special holiday. This is a great destination for large families or multiple families. Outside you can relax in the ornate gardens, including the pillared portico which adds a colonial charm. The immaculate lawn is perfect for croquet or simply unwind with a nice glass of bubbly. Alternatively, soak you troubles away in the hot tub.
The property is meticulously designed to the highest standard to ensure you feel truly indulged. The drawing and living room are delightful spaces for unwinding in after a busy day sightseeing.
You can let your hair down and have lots of fun in the bar and games room, an English style pub just for you. The room has a fridge stocked with your favourite drinks and snacks and a locally brewed keg of ale can be provided before your arrival. The bar has its own pool table, table football, darts board, wall-mounted TV and an Xbox 360 Kinect.
The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking up a feast and comes with a range of appliances, including a double range electric oven with 5 hobs, the second oldest functioning Aga in the UK, a coffee percolator, a Nespresso machine, toaster, dishwasher and water tap etc.
The main house has 10 superb bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. The East Wing comprises of a king en suite room with a single bed, a family suite and a twin room. The latter two rooms share a bathroom and both has a separate bathroom and toilet. On the first floor of the main house there are two double en suite rooms, a twin en suite room and a family suite. The family room has its own en suite bath with a toilet. The second floor of the main house has a twin room, a double en suite room and a twin/double en suite room.
Little Sandford, an annexe to the main house and an exclusive option extra to renters of the main house, sleeps an extra 7 people in 4 bedrooms. 2 doubles rooms, 1 twin and a single with an ensuite bathroom. Little Sandford has its own front door, fully fitted kitchen and dining room, living room and extra bathroom and shower room.
Mount Sandford House also offers a cinema room, bars and games room with pool table and table football, 9 person hot tub, summer house with gas BBQ and Summer terrace with additional gas BBQ. We also have 16 mountain bikes on site to use free of charge.
Mount Sandford House is ideally located, 5 minute walk into town with all the shops, bars and restaurants Barnstaple has on offer. It is also only a 15 minute drive to some of the best surfing beaches in Britain including Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay, Putsbourough and Woolacombe.
