A Peak District Cottage Just For Two!

Pillarbox Cottage offers self-catering accommodation on the outskirts of Matlock in Derbyshire. Our charming holiday cottage is within 5 miles of the beautiful Peak District National Park. Our Grade II listed barn was converted in 2008 to a very high standard.

The comfortable living room with its full-length windows overlooks the cobbled courtyard. Rising from this room is a metal spiral staircase, which leads to the bedroom.

We have a charming bedroom with exposed original beams and a gable window with views towards Riber Castle. 

With so many different attractions on its doorstep, Matlock is a truly amazing place. There really is something for everyone just a short walk, bike ride or car journey away! Matlock has good facilities for shopping and has many thriving small businesses throughout the town.
