Prince Hall Country House offers outstanding self catering accommodation in the charming village of Princetown. Based in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, our stunning Georgian period country house is great for a tranquil escape in Devon.
This magnificent property is elegantly furnished and sleeps up to 18 people, great for a family or group looking for their very own retreat in the country. Set amongst rolling countryside, this is a haven for nature lovers looking to escape the pressures of modern life but also offer an array of facilities to make your stay a magical one.
Unwind and socialise in the family lounge which comes with a TV, games and plenty of seating. Cook up a storm in the newly refurbished farmhouse style kitchen which comes with a gas range stove, dishwasher, washing machine, large American fridge freezer, air-fryer, microwave, toaster, kettle and crockery. Enjoy some memorable meals with your loved ones in the dining room.
Great facilities include a games room with pool table, darts, table tennis, football and cards. On the first floor there is an infrared sauna to relax in and in the courtyard there is a fantastic hot tub for 6 people. The tub is perfect enjoying a glass or two whilst savouring the breathtaking views over the moorland.
Nine spacious bedrooms are available: a ground floor room with a super king sleigh bed and walk in shower, 4 first floor super king en suite rooms and a super king four poster en suite room. On the top floor there are 3 en suite super king rooms.
Outside there is a superb BBQ area with seating, including a large bench style seating space. A delightful spot for al fresco dining whilst admiring the glorious views. On a chillier evening, stay toasty in front of the fire pit. You can also stroll around the beautiful gardens and feel rejuvenated in the woodland mediation circle/wellness area.
There is a coaching barn which is available for larger events.
This part of country has a range of great attractions to discover. Visit one of the majestic National Trust properties, including Buckland Abbey, Cotehele and Saltram House. Only an hour away are gorgeous beaches for unwinding on when the sun is shining. Dartmoor is home to a variety of fun-filled activities, including horse riding, electric bike tours, walking with alpacas, wildlife tours, archery, watersport and rock climbing.
