Holmhead Cottage is a 300-year-old cottage that is situated in the heart of Royal Deeside, outside of Logie Coldstone near Abyone. This fabulous holiday cottage is set within 2 acres of its own grounds, offering a wonderful, secluded base for those who are looking for a relaxing break away in Aberdeenshire.
This charming cottage dates to the early 1700s and stands in 2 acres of its own land, surrounded by trees and forest. This cosy cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with a range of quality facilities. A fully equipped kitchen is great for cooking up a storm, whilst you can relax in the living area after a day of sightseeing. Catch your favourite show on the TV which includes Sky box whilst staying toasty in front of the log burner. A DVD player and board games are also available for cosy nights in.
Two attractive bedrooms are available, a master double room and a twin room. Both rooms share a bathroom. All linen and towels are provided.
Outside there is a garden table, chairs and BBQ for al fresco dining. Extra storage is available in an outside, clean shed for skis and luggage, etc.
Tea towels, washing up liquid, hand soap and cleaning products are all supplied.
Logie Coldstone village is a 2-minute walk from Holmhead. Logie Coldstone and the surrounding area are steeped in history and you will not be short of finding fun and interesting things to see and do during your stay. Visit one of the beautiful historic buildings including Balmoral Castle and 'Royals' Church at Crathie.
One of the best ways to appreciate our landscape is to go out by foot along many of the well-established hill walking trails. You may even be lucky enough to spot one of our famous red squirrels! If taking to the snow-covered hills is more your idea of fun, we are just a 40-minute drive from The Letch Ski Centre that have many activities all year round.
