Set amidst the Angus hills and heather-clad moorland, Nethercraig is a beautiful, peaceful location to escape from hectic day-to-day life. As a family-run company with many years of experience in the holiday park industry they understand the needs of families and couples who expect the highest of standards in today's modern holiday park.
Exceptionally well-spaced, hard standing and sheltered touring pitches are offered, including the availability of some seasonal touring pitches. Tents are also welcome. You can enjoy a touch of luxury in the glamping pods, huts, holiday homes and lodges.
The park is nestled in one of the most stunning and gorgeous areas of Scotland, surrounded by glorious farmland and boasting spectacular views over the Vale of Stathmore. This is a true haven for outdoor lovers looking for somewhere special to stay.
The secluded park is accessed through a secure barrier and offers 24hr surveillance storage for your tourer. Electric hook ups are offered, lots of water taps and plenty of bins dotted around the place. The washrooms include ladies, gents and disabled toilets, plus showers, a washing up room, laundry and ironing facilities. There is also a useful small shop at reception which sells basics, including gas bottles.
You can enjoy a truly luxurious experience in one of the lodges. All the lodges come with cosy living areas, well-equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms for a peaceful night’s sleep. All the lodges include patio doors that open onto a large private gated deck with a picnic bench, great for a coffee in the morning sun whilst admiring your surroundings. You can also stay in one or two fabulous caravans. Angus sleeps 4 in a double and twin room, whilst Perth sleeps 6 in one double and two twin rooms. Both caravans come with superb facilities and are great for a memorable getaway.
The charming glamping pods blend the outdoors and indoors seamlessly, providing a magical experience. Each pod sleeps 4 in a double and 2 singles. There is a small fridge, microwave, kettle, heater and TV. Outside there is a porch area with a picnic bench, perfect for a glass of wine in the afternoon sun. We also have a glamping hut which is currently closed due to the coronavirus situation, please contact us for further details.
Onsite there are two children’s play areas, a large sandpit, a football field and a golf practice net. You can also hire the BBQ hut for a fun gathering with friends or family. The hut includes a large charcoal-fuelled barbecue in the centre with custom grills, utensils and a small table all the way around the central barbecue.
Whether you fancy a visit to Glamis Castle or prefer to make a day of it visiting the Macbeth Experience, Shakespeare fanatics will never be bored. Get close up to history with a visit to the Pictish sculpted stones at Meigle or spend a pleasant day picking soft fruits in this world-famous strawberry and raspberry growing area. Nethercraig Holiday Park is the ideal location for touring Perthshire and beyond.
