Lakeview Lodge offers wonderful self catering accommodation in Moira near Swadlincote. This beautiful wooden lodge overlooks a stunning fishing lake in the Derbyshire/Leicestershire border. It is in the heart of the National Forest and is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday away.
The charming lodge sleeps up to 4 people and is ideal for all the family. The fully equipped kitchen/diner comes with a range of excellent appliances: fridge, ironing equipment, microwave, electric oven and hob. The living room is perfect for relaxing in. It comes with an LED backlit flat-screen TV, DVD player, CD, electric display fire, three seater settee and two chairs. French doors open onto the decking area. From here you can admire glorious views of the lake.
Bedrooms consist of a double en suite and twin en suite room. Each en suite bathroom includes a WC, vanity unit, electric shaver point and walk-in shower.
Outside on the decking, there is garden furniture and a BBQ. This is the perfect spot for a morning coffee of a glass of wine in the evening. There is also a shed housing a washing machine/tumble dryer. An outdoor rotary clothes line is also available.
Our site is perfect for coarse fishing. The privately-owned lake is set in 4 acres of land. The Lake is mainly stocked with carp, some weighing up to 25lbs. There are many smaller fish including rudd, roach, tench and bream which provide an added attraction.
You can visit the Lakeside Bistro when staying here. The bistro serves breakfast, coffees, lunch and afternoon tea.
