This magnificent 12 Century manor house boasts early 18th Century panelling and a mid-nineteenth Century facade, offering plenty of charm and character. This truly is ideal for an unforgettable holiday.
There are 3 beautiful bedroom suites available, all furnished to the highest standards whilst offering modern comforts. One room has all the original 18th Century panelling and is furnished accordingly. The second suite is Victorian in style with an original brass bed, and the third is the old 18th Century nursey with a high-beamed ceiling and rustic charm. All the bedrooms boast a bathroom suite, TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a blend of feather and synthetic pillows.
A wonderful full English breakfast is served in the medieval dining room. A range of organic produce is offered. A continental breakfast can also be provided in your room.
Guests have full use of gardens and picnic areas. The gardens have six acres of natural water gardens and are a haven for wildlife and totally organic. Home to water voles and kingfishers plus lots of other wildlife.
The bed and breakfast is environmentally friendly, offering local produce and use of energy-saving products.
It is in a fabulous position for discovering the local area, with an abundance of National Trust properties to see, including Waddesden Manor, Greys Court, Basildon Park (where Pride and Prejudice was filmed) Claydon House and Clivedon. Henley-on-Thames is just a 15-minute drive away and we are ideally located for visiting the famous city of Oxford.
