Camusbeag offers superb self catering accommodation in a glorious hillside position, nestled on a hillside behind Stromness. The cottage in Orkney boasts spectacular views over the town, harbour and Scapa Flow.
This unique cottage is on 2 levels linked by a wooden paddle staircase (pictured above) and is ideal for 1 or 2 people sharing a double bed settee. On the ground floor is the entrance hall, toilet/shower room and the kitchen/dining area.
The kitchen is designed to make the best use of space and has attractive lighting, bright units and a view of the harbour, an even better view can be enjoyed from the room upstairs. The upper level consists of the bed/sitting area with another door to the outside. The bed settee opens out to make a double bed (just over 4' wide & 6'3" long).
Due to the layout of Camusbeag it is not suitable for babies, young children, anyone with mobility problems or pets. Camusbeag is non-smoking, however, you are welcome to sit outside in the garden and enjoy the beautiful view.
Enjoy the endless fascination of the ferries coming in and out - explore the cobbled lanes of the town on foot - sample the excellent food and drink available in the local hotels & restaurants. Choose gifts from the wide range of high-quality crafts available, and visit the museum and galleries. Then you can start to plan the rest of your visit to Orkney!
