Rural Holiday Cottages!
High Trees Farm (a 600 year old working farm) offers three stunning self catering cottages which are set in 200 acres of farmland in an area of unspoiled beauty. The holiday cottages are located in the small hamlet of Old Hall Green, Hertfordshire which is just a short journey to the town of Ware.
The cottages enjoy panoramic views over a gently undulating landscape of arable farmland. Operating under the countryside stewardship scheme, the farm has conservation at its heart. The ancient woodland and its natural spring, the conservation heartland, the beetle banks, all attract and encourage an abundance of wildlife.
Each cottage has everything you need to prepare locally sourced produce - but if cooking isn’t on the menu - why not sample a taste of local life at one of our many pubs and restaurants. They have Hebridean sheep, guinea fowl, geese, donkeys and free-range chickens within the grounds.
This traditional barn has been converted into 3 cottages providing luxury living with high ceilings and windows overlooking the beautiful countryside. Each cottage is open plan and has well-equipped kitchens with washer/dryer, leather sofas, dining table and chairs, television with DVD player, internet access (WIFI), bathroom with bath & shower, hair dryer, and downstairs cloakroom.
Oak & Ash cottages each have 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4.
Elm cottage has one large bedroom also sleeping up to 4.
All linen and towels are provided as are farm eggs in your welcome pack on arrival.
A shepherds hut for a couple is available in the summer – please enquire for details.
The location is perfect for walkers, joggers, nature lovers and bird watchers as well as those wanting to explore further afield. With the historical towns of Buntingford, Hertford and Bishops Stortford within easy reach and good access to London and Cambridge via the A10, High Trees Farm offers something for everyone.
