The cottage comes with a comfortable open plan living room with two settees to relax in after a busy day exploring all that the area has to offer. The newly fitted kitchen has a cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment. There is a large South facing garden with barbecue and garden furniture with adjacent parking for your car.
The staircase from the lounge leads to a spacious landing with door to the delightful large double bedroom with high beamed ceiling with plenty of storage cupboards. From the landing a door leads to the newly fitted bathroom with bath and shower over, wash hand basin, shaver point and plenty of hot water always available. Facilities include full central heating, Digital TV with Freeview/DVD player and Stereo CD player. Information on all the local attractions that the area has to offer are available in the cottage.
The Poppies is a charming property which is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The well-equipped kitchen comes with an oven, microwave, fridge and washing up machine. A separate lounge has two comfortable double sofas, Freeview TV and an open fire. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a super king bed. A modern en suite bathroom comes with a shower over the bath.
The small market town of Newent is just 3 miles away with a wide variety of shops and mini markets. There are many good pubs in the area, providing a wide choice of excellent food and good ales. The location provides an ideal position from which to explore in all directions. You can choose the breathtaking Malvern Hills, Worcester and Tewkesbury, or the enchanting Royal Forest of Dean, the scenic Cotswolds, Hereford and even into Wales.
The historic Docks of Gloucester, the Regency towns of Cheltenham and Bath, Oxford, Cirencester, Stratford on Avon make a lovely day out. The picturesque local market towns of Ross on Wye, Ledbury and Newent are all within easy reach. There are also many visitor attractions from stately homes and castles to museums.
