The House: This outstanding property sleeps up to 10 people, great for large families or groups looking for somewhere special to stay. You can unwind in the cosy sitting room which has comfy seating, a double sofa bed, smart TV, DVDs, music playlists, books, magazines and local guides. Rustle up some delicious food in the fully-equipped kitchen which has a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer-dryer, microwave and fan oven. Enjoy some home-cooked food around the dining table which seats 8 people.
Three beautiful bedrooms are available. The glorious king-size bedroom enjoys river views and the en suite king-size penthouse includes a double futon bed and a bathroom which an overhead shower. The third bedroom includes a king or twin bed. Additionally, there is a large family bathroom with a double-ended bath with a separate shower enclosure and a cloakroom with a WC.
The Apartment: This lavish apartment is ideal for families, couples and small groups, sleeping 2 – 5 guests. This recently renovated property features sumptuous interiors and facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The ground level apartment has a lovely sitting room which is perfect for unwinding in after a day of sightseeing. Facilities include a comfortable sofa (which also provides a double bed option), Freeview TV, DVDs, music system and CDs, Wii Console, books, games and local guides. A solid oak table sits 4 people.
A modern kitchen comes with a range of appliances for home-cooking including an oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, as well as a dishwasher and washer dryer. Two attractive bedrooms are available, including a king room. The modern bathroom has a WC, washbasin, a bath with an overhead shower, a heated towel rail, heated slate floor and deluxe toiletries.
The historic city of York has an array of wonderful attractions for the whole family to enjoy. You can see renowned museums, impressive art galleries, wander down cobbled streets or try one of the many fantastic restaurants. Visit York Minster, the city’s famous gothic-style medieval cathedral or visit the fascinating JORVIK Viking Centre.
