The wonderful lodges are based in a truly breathtaking setting, offering a true haven for nature lovers looking to escape the pressures of modern life. Each lodge is beautifully furnished and comes with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in a scenic setting.
The lodges sleep between 4 – 6 people in beautiful bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep. Some lodges also come with a lavish four poster bedroom, great for a special occasion. Each lodge has a modern bathroom/en suite facility and some lodges boast the luxury of a roll-top bath to unwind in.
Each lodge has a cosy sitting room with comfy seating and a smart TV. The perfect spot to relax with a coffee after a day exploring the area. The kitchens are well-equipped and come with a range of facilities for cooking up a storm. Outside each lodge there is a decking area with a garden furniture for al fresco dining whilst savouring your surroundings. You can also soak away your troubles in the fabulous hot tub whilst enjoying some bubbly.
All guests staying at our lodges have full use of the of excellent facilities at the site, including the tennis court, bowling green, fishing lake (fishing licence will be required), and access to miles and miles of woodland walks and cycle routes. You can enjoy some lovely food or an indulgent afternoon tea at the Millers Café and Bistro.
While staying here you can visit the walled city of York, home to a glorious cathedral, cobbled streets, fabulous restaurants and great attractions. You can visit the fascinating Jorvik Viking Centre or visit Clifford’s Tower, the city’s former prison perched on a hill.
