Borah Farm Cottages are a collection of four charming holiday cottages situated at Lamorna in the beautiful county of Cornwall. We are also just a short drive from the bustling town of Penzance. We are the ideal base for large family parties or couples wishing to explore the area.
Each holiday cottage at Borah Farm has its own character. Meadowside has a large open plan, light and airy living space and suits couples or small families, while Bew will appeal to anyone looking forward to sleeping in a four-poster bed. Tremornah is the largest cottage, sleeping up to eleven and has an oil-fired Aga stove for cooking. For large parties, booking a combination of cottages means we can entertain up to twenty-one people. All the cottages have their own private patio and garden equipped with outdoor furniture and luxury hot tubs suitable for the size of the cottage.
Bew Cottage sleeps six (plus a cot if required) in a charming three bedroom barn conversion, ideal for a romantic break or family holiday. Bew features a heavily beamed lounge with a log burner and rugs on a wooden floor. The rustic style, fully equipped kitchen/dining room has a lovely terracotta tiled floor. French doors from the lounge and kitchen/diner lead out onto the large patio where you’ll find Bew’s luxury hot tub. There are open tread stairs to the first floor leading to a double bedroom with a wrought iron four-poster bed with en suite shower and vanity unit, a second double bedroom, a third twin room with bunk beds and a bathroom with shower cubicle. Meadowside is a single-storey barn converted to a high degree of luxury. It has a fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge open plan living area with a log burner, flat-screen TV, DVD, music system and glorious views over the surrounding countryside. Meadowside has two bedrooms, one large double with French doors to the patio and one twin room. There is an elegant bathroom with a bath and separate shower unit. A cot is also available. The patio includes an outdoor dining area, sunbeds, a luxurious hot tub and ample parking. Meadowside is suitable for people with limited mobility. Wi-Fi in the property.
Tremornah Cottage is a spacious ‘upside down’ converted barn; very warm and homely. It offers level access to the bedrooms on the ground floor to save having to lug your suitcases upstairs. The first floor can be accessed by an internal and external staircase. Tremornah has a farmhouse style kitchen with an oil-fired Aga and a second colour TV, a separate WC, a large, beamed living room with flat-screen TV, DVD, sofa bed and open log fire. Wi-Fi in the cottage. The ground floor has three bedrooms, one large double with additional bunk beds, one double with an extra single bed and shower cubicle and one twin-bedded room. There is a separate family bathroom and a cot.
