Dine and Stay!
The Tudor Arms in Shepherds Patch offers excellent accommodation, delicious food and a great bar, nestled beside the Gloucester-Sharpness Canal. This pub in Gloucestershire is in a great position, just ½ miles from the world-famous Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.
This lovely pub dates from the 18th Century, offering lots of charm and character. Superb accommodation is offered in the purpose built Tudor Arms Lodge adjacent to the pub. In total, there are 16 large bedrooms to choose from, all with modern en suite facilities. The rooms have been recently refurbished to suit all your needs.
You can look forward to a fantastic meal whilst staying here. There are six different areas to dine in, from the magnificent barn which has exposed beams and old oak settles to the airy front lounge. The main dining area is next to the Long Barn, whilst the cosy Hayloft enjoys a more tranquil atmosphere. A delightful breakfast is served in the conservatory and all diners can enjoy a relaxing meal under the covered patio when the sun is shining. Food is served 7 days a week and a brilliant menu with a range of homemade dishes using local produce is offered. There is also a hearty Sunday carvery (booking advised).
Enjoy a drink or two in one of the two licensed bars. A range of cask ales and keg ales, stouts, lagers and ciders are offered.
The quaint village of Slimbridge is home to WWT Slimbridge, renowned for its wonderful wildlife. You can also visit Dr Jenner's House or head to Cattle Country Farm Park, a farm-themed amusement park for children.
