This elegantly furnished cottage is surrounded by nature, offering the perfect place to escape from the pressure of modern life. You can even hear the call of owls or buzzards, the bark of deer or foxes or the dawn chorus, completing a magical rural experience.
Downstairs there is a cosy living/dining room with fantastic features including original oak beams, an inglenook fireplace with a toasty wood-burning stove and limestone flooring. Unwind in the living area after a day in the country in front of the TV/DVD player. A lovely dining table seats 6.
Rustle up some tasty dishes in the adjacent kitchen which has an original bread oven, double oven electric cooker with ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and a comprehensive range of cooking equipment and utensils.
Upstairs there are two attractive bedrooms. Bedroom 1 can be made has a super king or twin, whilst bedrooms 2 has a double bed, plus an adult sized bunk bed. Both rooms come with quality mattresses and bed linen. Bathroom 1 has a shower over bath and bathroom 2 boasts a long bath for soaking your troubles away in. The bathrooms include anti slip mats, fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries.
Outside there is private terrace, great for a morning coffee whilst savouring your surroundings. There are plenty of shady areas under the trees for picnics and a playfield is great for badminton and croquet.
This is the ideal location for exploring the area, with an abundance of scenic cycling and walking routes to enjoy. Less than 5 miles away is Dartmoor National Park, whilst the south west coast path is just 7 miles away. Visit the bustling country town of Exeter, famed for its amazing cathedral and award-winning museum, or discover the Victorian elegance of Torquay.
