Rural Camping & Glamping!

The Wildings Campsite is a charming new campsite site in Bourton-on-the-Water, set on a beautiful family farm. The campsite in Gloucestershire is great for families or couples looking to escape the pressures of modern life.

It is nestled on the top of a hill and enjoys glorious views of the Windrush Valley, great for an idyllic getaway in the country. Three types of accommodation are available onsite, including camping, camping without a tent and bell tent glamping.

Camping: Camping option includes 9m x 9m grass pitches but please note electric is not available. You also have use of showers and a flushing loo, plus a wash up shed.

Camping Without The Tent: The camping without the tent option is great for people that don’t fancy the traditional camping experience and includes pods, star tents and yurts. The pods include electricity and heating. The star tents and yurts offer an authentic off-grid experience, plus a toasty wood burner for those chilly days and an outdoor BBQ firepit for huddling around whilst star gazing.

All of the accommodation includes a comfy double bed and mattress (no bedding) and use of a range of shared facilities: flushing loos and hot showers and a communal heated and powered fully fitted kitchen log cabin. A range of extras for an additional price are available, including a log basket, hampers, bed linen and much more.

Bell Tent Glamping: Opening soon is Bell Tent Village, great for a magical holiday in a glorious setting. These delightful tents are great for a romantic getaway and include bunting, fairy lights, cooking essentials, a BBQ firepit and a welcome hamper with a selection of lovely goodies. You have use of flushing loos and hot showers.

Onsite there is a fabulous new BBQ hut to enjoy with friends or family for an additional price. You can also buy some essentials from the mini farm shop which sells alcohol and wood too.

While staying here you can make the most of the amazing setting, with lots of gorgeous walking and cycling routes in the area. The quaint village of Bourton-on-the-Water is only a mile away down the hill, home to a brilliant bakery, pubs, shops, a fish chip shop, motor museum and model village. A short drive away is the majestic Sherborne Estate and a lovely pub, The Fox at Barrington.
