Peak District Farm Cottage!
Overbrook Barn is part of a beautiful 18th Century Peak District farm that offers self catering holiday accommodation for up to 8 people. The farm sits in a quiet valley in the south west corner of the Peak District National Park on the edge of the village of Flash near Buxton, the highest village in Britain.
Recently converted, the style of the self catering holiday home is clean, modern and cosy rather than rustic. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are on the ground floor in a single open plan space with three beautiful picture window views over the farm. There's a log burning stove, Sky TV, BluRay DVD, and a music system. The main bedroom with a super king double bed and en suite is off this room. The en suite has a lavatory, hand basin, shower and towel radiator. Upstairs are the other three bedrooms and the bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms all have twin beds but these can be made into super king doubles if you prefer. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, lavatory, basin, and towel radiator. All bedrooms have TV/DVD, natural fibre carpet, duvets with cotton sheets and covers (bed linen and towels are provided).
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you'll need for adventurous cooking for a full house! It includes Neff oven, microwave, and ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, along with the usual range of kitchen equipment: food processor, toaster, kettle, etc..
Outside of the holiday home is a gated and well lit garden which is secure for small children. There's a barbeque area with seating for eight. Well behaved pets are welcome and there's plenty of room for off-the-lead walking on the farm.
While staying here you can discover all that the local area has to offer. Enjoy scenic walking routes and gorgeous cycle paths, with lots right on the doorstep. In the village there is a trekking centre in the village and some of England’s most stunning country houses are nearby, including Chatsworth House and Gardens which includes a maze and adventure playground. Only 30 minutes away is Alton Towers, great for adrenaline junkies.
