The Baron at Bucknell provides accommodation and delicious homecooked food and wonderful views of the Shropshire Hills. It is located within the village of Bucknell which is only 6 miles from Knighton. This is a stunning base for a range of outdoor activities and exploring.
There are bedrooms available within the inn and in separate boutique garden rooms. There are 5 en suite bedrooms within the inn which are a range of types. They all include a TV, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water, homemade biscuits, toiletries and chocolate. There are 3 garden rooms. They all overlook a natural swimming pond and each garden room has a private hot tub. Facilities include:

In the morning a traditional Shropshire breakfast is served including rare breed sausages, home cured bacon from Andrew Francis of Ludlow and free range eggs from Clun Farm. There is also homemade muesli and granola plus yoghurts, fruit, toast and beverages.
The charming restaurant has an original 18th Century cider press and millstone in it. There is a varied menu with some classic pub favourites. Also, enjoy a variety of beverages at the bar from local ales to gin cocktails.
Walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, bird watching and golf are just a few activities on offer in this beautiful, peaceful and unspoilt county. There are many interesting towns and villages to visit such as Ludlow, Church Stretton and Ironbridge.
