Henge Estate in Shrewton offers outstanding self catering accommodation in idyllic location. This glorious country estate is nestled in 25 acres of Wiltshire countryside, ideal for an unforgettable getaway.
They have two beautifully restored and sustainably-minded self catering properties available, with both luxuriously equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A range of extra services and can also be provided, including a private chef, housekeeping, home spa treatments and hot tub hire.
Manor House:
This fabulous property offers extensive private gardens and is styled with eclectic English decor, great for the ultimate country escape. A spacious kitchen comes with an Aga and a range of appliances for home cooking. You can savour a feast around the farmhouse table or in the dining room that seats up to 24 people.
The elegant sitting room has comfy seating and a smart TV, whilst the drawing room and library also have smart TVs. A private bathroom and shower is available, whilst the basement games room has a snooker/pool table and games/toys/books.
The Manor House can be combined with The Annexe to sleep up to 24 people, with each bedroom boasting a private bathroom. The Georgian wing has 5 bedrooms and the Victorian wing has 3 bedrooms. Bedrooms consist of 3 super kings and 6 super king/twin rooms (including 1 with trundle beds that sleep 4).
Outside there is a magical secret garden with a large lawn and frog pond, offering a great spot to unwind in the afternoon sun. There’s also a children’s playground, a delightful woodland path, a swimming pool, a tennis court and a front lawn for games. Garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ area available for al fresco dining. They also have horse stables, available via prior arrangement.
The Annexe:
This charming one-bedroom apartment is based at the back of the Manor House and is great for couples or individuals. The Annexe has its own entrance and driveway and can be rented separately from the Manor House. Inside there is a fully-equipped kitchen including a coffee machine and dishwasher, plus two stools at the breakfast counter.
Relax in the sitting room after a day sightseeing, facilities include a smart TV and comfy seating. Enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in the king size bed and the en suite bathroom has a bath and walk-in shower.
They are based on the edge of the Salisbury Plain and only a six-minute drive to world-famous Stonehenge. See the amazing animals at Longleat Safari and Adventure Park or enjoy the abundance of scenic country walks in the area. In the local village, there is a well-stocked Co-op supermarket, a lovely village pub and an excellent restaurant.
