This wonderful property sits adjacent to the owner's Georgian Old Rectory, nestled within a private setting for a tranquil holiday. This architect-designed conversion has an abundance of gorgeous original features, including a fully-restored Victorian stained glass window and colourful tiles, Gothic archway, exposed stonework, flagstone flooring and Georgian panelling.
The house offers luxurious facilities, plus a huge first floor mezzanine open plan living area covering two thirds of the former nave. Outside there is an enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining, based in a secluded corner of the owners' spacious rectory garden. There’s also a brilliant star-gazing platform in the Old Church garden, offering the perfect place for viewing the area’s renowned 'Dark Skies'.
They are only a short drive from Bellingham, Kielder Water and Observatory, Hadrian's Wall, the Northumberland Heritage Coast, the Scottish Borders and the market town of Hexham. They can also arrange salmon, sea trout and trout fishing on adjacent stretches of the North Tyne.
