Rose Cottage offers delightful self catering accommodation in the centre of Newburgh. We are only 5 miles southeast of Ellon and almost halfway between Peterhead and Aberdeen, making us a great base for exploring Aberdeenshire.
Our cosy cottage is tastefully furnished and sleeps up to 4 people, ideal for a relaxing getaway.
On the ground floor is a fully-equipped kitchen with a range of appliances for home cooking: under counter fridge, freezer, a washing machine/dryer, main gas cooker, cutlery and cooking utensils. Enjoy some delicious home-cooked meals in the dining room, with a dining table seating 6.
After a busy day sightseeing, relax in the lounge. Facilities include a sofa bed, Freeview TV, DVD player, music CDs and a selection of books.
On the first floor is a bedroom with twin single Divan beds. The bathroom has a corner bath, WC and wash-hand basin.
Outside we have a small garden with a wooden bench, offering a great spot for a coffee in the morning sun. The courtyard area houses a lockable brick-built shed where wet-weather gear, golf bags and fishing gear can be stored. Behind there is an additional WC.
We are ideal for discovering all that the local area has to offer, great for angling, golf, walking and cycling. You can also admire the amazing wildlife or visit Forvie Sands Nature Reserve. Alternatively, relax on the gorgeous beach.
