Netherwood House offers lovely self catering accommodation on the outskirts of Newtonmore. Our lodge-style house is perfect for an idyllic break in Inverness-shire.
We are perfect for a cosy getaway in a peaceful setting. The house is tastefully furnished and offers a home-from-home feel. The property sleeps up to 10 people in total.
On the ground floor, we have a spacious sitting room with an open fire and Sky television with Q box and a large dining room with seating up to 10-12 people. Enjoy some home cooking in the fully equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: electric hob, dishwasher, microwave/combi oven, large fridge and separate freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and an Aga with three ovens plus warming oven. A ground bedroom can be made a single, twin or double and there’s also a shower room.
We have two beautiful king-size bedrooms on the first floor, with both offering fabulous views of Creag Dhubh. There’s also a twin room that offers garden views, a family room and a single room. A stylish bathroom comes with a bath and a separate shower.
Outside there is garden furniture for al fresco dining whilst savouring the setting. A moveable BBQ is available and there are gardens to enjoy.
Our house is perfectly located for enjoying a wealth of activities, including wild swimming at River Spey or paddleboarding at Loch Morlich. The area also has lots of great cycling and walking routes, offering the ideal way to admire the amazing natural scenery.
