The Priory offers luxurious self catering accommodation in the delightful town of Much Wenlock. We are only minutes from the shops, pubs and restaurants, making us a great base for exploring Shropshire.
Our wonderful Grade II Listed family house is beautifully furnished and finished to a high standard to suit all your needs. The house sleeps up to 5 people, great for a family or group holiday.
Inside there is a large and well-equipped kitchen with a range of appliances for home cooking: dishwasher, microwave, electric hob & oven, fridge freezer, washing machine & dryer. Savour some delicious meals around the kitchen table that seats 6.
Unwind in the spacious south-facing sitting room that comes with comfy seating and a HD TV with Freeview and Netflix. Downstairs there is also a cloakroom/utility room.
Upstairs we have two en suite bedrooms which boast original beams. The king room enjoys glorious views of the church tower and Abbey Ruins whilst the second room has a double and single.
Outside there is a south-facing seating area for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.
Our property is ideally located for exploring the unspoiled market town of Much Wenlock. In town, there are independent shops, several pubs, restaurants and tea tooms. There’s also a cinema, theatre, sports centre and an indoor swimming pool. You can also visit the outstanding national trust properties of Benthall Hall, Dudmaston Hall, Attingham Park, Stokesey Castle and Berrington Hall.
