Tranquil Caravan Park!

Inver Caravan Park is a small camping and touring site nestled in Dunbeath, Caithness. This is perfect for a relaxing holiday in an idyllic part of the country.

They are the ideal place to escape from the pressures of modern life, based in a tranquil location. They have 10 hard standings for motorhomes, 5 smooth grass pitches with electric hook-ups for campervans, tents and for caravanners and 4 smooth grass pitches with no electric for tents.

They have mains water, recycling facilities and a dump station for disposal of grey water and chemical toilet disposal.

The facilities block has under floor heating, 3 private unisex shower rooms with power showers and automatic hand dryers one of which is suitable for people with disabilities, a bathroom with a shower over, and a separate WC. They have a separate dishwashing area, and a laundry with a washing machine and a sink, plus a boiler room/drying room giving free overnight drying of wet clothing and washing.

You can also stay in one of the two static caravans. Castle View sleeps up to 4 people, and Scaraben View sleeps up to 8 people. Both come with a living area with a smart TV, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and shower rooms

The caravan park is 84 miles north of Inverness and 4 miles south of the junction of the A9 and the A99. It is 38 miles south of John o' Groats. It is therefore a good location from which to explore the far north or make a stopover on the NC500 touring route or on a long distance walk or cycle run, or to use as a base while attempting the ‘John o’ Groats walking Trail’. Only 400 metres away is a local pub/restaurant.
