West Acre Lodge in Boltby is a luxury retreat, nestled within a gorgeous countryside setting. Based near Thirsk in a tranquil area of North Yorkshire, we are perfect for the place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
Formerly a 19th Century dairy farm, we have beautifully renovated a range of buildings to provide high-quality suites. We off exclusive use of the site, ideal for celebratory occasions, health retreats and bespoke workshops. We can cater for day courses and corporate day residentials as well. Delicious menus using locally sourced produce from our team of chefs can be provided.
Our development consists of 11 fabulous en suite bedrooms, plus a dining room and sitting room. Each room enjoys an individual character and retains key features from its past, including original brick and stonework and exposed beams. All the suites include en suite facilities, quality bed linen, underfloor heating and an infotainment system. The suites also contain a gun safe for shooting parties.
Outside each suite is a private outdoor area and garden furniture, ideal for a coffee in the morning sun while savouring views of the National Park.
Whilst staying with us you can visit lots of brilliant attractions in the area. Enjoy picturesque walks and cycle rides across the Sutton Bank National Park Centre or visit Newby Hall & Gardens, home to a magnificent hall and award-winning garden. You can also visit the ruins of Helmsley Castle.
