Mill House Hotel offers stylish accommodation in Tynet, nestled in glorious countryside. Located near Buckie in the heart of Morayshire, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
Originally an Old Mill, our hotel has been beautifully restored to offer wonderful accommodation. All our rooms are finished to a high standard, with 18 in total. Each room enjoys an individual character and a comfy bed for a restful night’s sleep.
You can choose from double, twin and family rooms. For a truly special occasion, you can stay in our Tynet Suite, offering a large Jacuzzi bath and double shower. All the rooms include en-suite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries, tea & coffee making facilities, TV and free Wi-Fi.
Our restaurant uses brilliant local suppliers to create fabulous menus to suit all tastes. From Buckie Haddock to sirloin steak, we have something for everyone. For those with a sweet tooth, we also have a range of indulgent desserts, including sticky toffee pudding and white chocolate and raspberry mousse. Afternoon tea is also available and the bar stocks a range of local gins, whisky, beers and lagers.
We are on the North Coast 250 route, making us a great base for a cycling holiday. Just 2 miles away is the fishing port of Buckie, the village of Fochabers and the River Spey Estuary. Great activities in the area include fishing, gliding, sailing, shooting, windsurfing, horse riding and golf. History fans should visit Elgin Cathedral, Pluscarden Abbey or Duffus Castle.
