The Cottage Eyam offers delightful self-catering accommodation in the centre of Eyam. We are opposite the rectory and near the church in a lovely area of Derbyshire, perfect for a tranquil getaway.
Our Grade II Listed cottage offers lots of character, including original beams, a real fire and deep window seats. There is original artwork by local artists, antiques and upcycled furniture.
We have a living room to relax in after a day sightseeing. Facilities include window chairs, a window seat, a TV, Wi-Fi, a reading nook with an honesty bar and an original stone fireplace. The fully-equipped kitchen includes wooden units, granite worktops & pine scrubbed table & church chairs, plus a dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Upstairs the is a large mezzanine-style master bedroom with antique furniture, an original fireplace and a large window seat. From the main bedroom, you can access the single bed and the modern shower room.
A secluded courtyard comes with a table and chairs for al fresco dining over a glass or two. We also have a BBQ and firepit.
We are ideally a place for exploring Eyam, home to tea rooms, local shops, a pub, a post office, a museum, a church, cafes and a country house. Locally you can visit lots of villages and market towns.
