Walter de Cantelupe Inn offers cosy accommodation and delicious food in Kempsey. Our independent inn near Worcester is perfect for a relaxing break in a lovely area of Worcestershire.
We have 3 individually furnished bedrooms to choose from, all perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a day sightseeing. You can choose from 2 twin/super king en suites and 1 double en suite. The double room features plenty of character and original features.
Each room includes a range of facilities: free Wi-Fi, Freeview, linen and towels, tea and coffee facilities, desk, en suite, hair dryer, iron and ironing board available on request, free breakfast and bed linen.
We use locally sourced ingredients where possible to create fantastic dishes to suit all tastes. If you would really like a dish cooked for you, please contact us 6 days before booking. On Sundays, we serve a hearty roast, including prime Herefordshire beef, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes and gravy.
Enjoy a drink or two at the bar with like-minded people, with a variety of drinks on offer. The wine list varies from month to month and we try to stock seasonal wines when able to.
We are on the LEJOG route, the long-distance cycle ride from Land’s End to John o’Groats. A local tennis club is affiliated with us, and you can book through the pub. Walk and cycle around the Malvern Hills or visit the Three Counties Showground.
