Tunstead Cottages offers an ideal location for a Norfolk getaway, proximate to the Norfolk Broads and the coastline, yet only a 30-minute drive from the vibrant city of Norwich. Serving as a perfect hub for exploring Norfolk's attractions, the cottages provide opportunities for walking, cycling, canoeing, sailing, birdwatching, visits to nature reserves and exploring stately homes. Alternatively, you can simply relax on the beach with friends and family.
The Granary: Our self-catering, dog-friendly Norfolk cottage, sits adjacent to the Stables. It features a private, wicker-fenced patio, perfect for al fresco meals or unwinding after a day of boating. French doors lead from the patio to the open-plan living area, complete with a comfortable sofa area and a smart TV with Wi-Fi included. The bright dining space flows into the fully equipped kitchen. Three bedrooms, including one with a super king-sized bed or two singles, one double room, and one single room, are accessible from this open-plan living space. All bedding and towels are provided, and the family bathroom includes a shower over the bath.
The Stables: A single-storey conversion, this offers comfortable and dog-friendly self-catering accommodation for up to 6 guests, welcoming up to 2 canine companions. It comprises one king bedroom with an en-suite shower room, another king bedroom, and one twin bedroom (with zip link mattresses to convert to a super king). These bedrooms share a family bathroom with a shower. Ample wardrobe and drawer space is available in the light and airy bedrooms and towels and bedding are provided, without the use of feather duvets or pillows. Central heating with radiators is available throughout. The spacious central lounge area retains original features from the stables and includes Wi-Fi and a smart TV. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is well-equipped for a relaxed self-catering break.
Guests have access to a games room and an indoor pool, which requires booking. The Stables and Granary can be booked together for larger groups, accommodating up to 11 guests, plus cots, perfect for families or friends seeking a balance of togetherness and privacy.
