Alpine Grove presents itself as the ideal destination for weekend camping or a family camping holiday nestled in the heart of South Somerset. Strategically located near the borders of Devon and Dorset, the campsite offers outstanding facilities within a family and pet-friendly environment.

Spread across 8.5 acres of serene parkland, the tranquil, level oak woodland site is tailored for caravans, campervans, trailer tents, tents, or even hammocks. Pitches are naturally secluded by rhododendrons amidst mature oaks, beeches, and birches, creating an idyllic setting that serves as a haven for wildlife, flora, and fauna, providing the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway.

Alpine Grove prides itself on fostering a family-friendly atmosphere, offering plenty of activities to entertain children. A safe play area, complete with a table tennis table and an outdoor heated swimming pool, ensures endless fun. The woods provide an ideal environment for den building, while the park features safe cycle and walking tracks for family adventures.

Pitches cater to all preferences, with some basking in sunshine and others situated under the gentle shade of magnificent oak trees. Picnic benches scattered throughout the site invite outdoor dining, perfect for picnics and barbecues.

Guests can enhance their camping experience by renting a firepit for their pitch, complete with logs for the evening. This offers the ideal way to enjoy warmth, light, and the pleasure of cooking outdoors, with sausages and marshmallows available from the on-site shop.

For eco-conscious guests, Alpine Grove provides two 7kw EV charging points.

Throughout the season, a variety of food vendors serve up delicious pizza, pancakes, and sometimes noodles right on the site.

The amenity block includes free hot water, hand basins, shaver points, hand & hair dryers, laundry facilities, as well as hand washing and dishwashing sinks, and a disabled/family bathroom.

The on-site shop stocks camping essentials, from CampingGaz and Calor Gas refills to a variety of food, sweets, ice creams, and a selection of toys, games, and gifts, ensuring guests have everything they need for a memorable stay at Alpine Grove.
