Cosy Cabin!
The Cabin, located at the back of 98 Melford Road in Sudbury, sits within a beautifully redesigned garden complete with a large pond, raised flower beds and an assortment of grasses that contribute to a Mediterranean ambience. A well-appointed summer house marks the garden's end.
This New England-style accommodation is fully dedicated to ethical trade, proudly supporting Fairtrade goods and holding a Fairtrade Pledge Certificate. The Cabin offers self-catering accommodation for up to two guests.
For secure access, entry is facilitated by a key safe. The main living space features a versatile super king-sized bed which can be split into two singles and is furnished with armchairs, a dining table and a TV. The kitchenette, accessed through a door on the right, includes a fridge, microwave, small induction hob, toaster and essentials like a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. A door on the left opens to a shower room with a wash basin and toilet.
Guests are provided with all necessary bedding, towels and toiletries for a comfortable stay.
Directly across from the house, a gate opens onto Sudbury’s renowned water meadows, a conservation area managed by the Sudbury Common Lands' ranger and his team. These meadows border the town to the south and west, offering a network of gentle, scenic walks along the disused railway track and through the fields.
Sudbury is a historic market town characterised by its rich architectural heritage, including three magnificent medieval churches and several Tudor-era houses. The town is also home to a museum dedicated to Thomas Gainsborough, the celebrated painter born here. Additionally, Sudbury boasts a diverse array of shops and dining options. The lively market, held on Thursdays and Saturdays, draws visitors from nearby villages, adding to the town’s vibrant atmosphere.
