Cumbrian Holiday Park!
Stanwix Park is a well-equipped holiday park nestled in Silloth, Cumbria, offering two camping and touring sites along with camping pods. Advance booking is recommended to secure a pitch, and guests can request their preferred pitch number.
The camping park features hardstanding pitches with fine pea gravel for improved drainage. During wet weather, cars must be parked in the designated car park. Criffel Site boasts a camper’s kitchen equipped with worktops, sinks, electric hobs, and microwaves, while the main park offers a laundry with washing and drying facilities.
Motorhome pitches, suitable for vehicles up to 25ft or longer, are available with prior notification to the office at the time of booking. All pitches include electric (240 volt, 10 amp), water, sewage hook-ups, and chemical disposal points. Both toilet blocks provide free hot and cold water, washbasins, toilets, showers, and bath cubicles as standard amenities.
Additionally, the camping park offers camping pods that can accommodate up to four people. These pods feature double doors leading onto a veranda, a small rear-opening window, carpeted floor, plug socket, electric heater, lights, picnic bench, and a small area for BBQ/cooking.
The park boasts an array of impressive facilities, including:
- Outdoor pool open from 25th May to 1st September, with sun terraces for relaxation.
- Children’s play park and crazy golf.
- Large indoor swimming pool.
- Family entertainment and daily activities during school holidays, with adults-only entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays from March to November.
- The Garden Cafe, popular for serving all-day English breakfasts, light bites, pizzas, and sharing platters, awarded a 5-star food safety rating.
- A well-stocked mini-market on-site for daily groceries and souvenirs.
- A bowling alley featuring UV extreme ten-pin bowling lanes, children’s pool tables, Foxy’s soft play area (under 6’s height restriction), Rijo coffee, soft drinks, and snacks.
