Wall Nook Cottages offer self-catering accommodation in Beckside near Cartmel. Our cottages in Cumbria are within a tastefully renovated 17th Century barn, located in a beautiful countryside location.
Kestrel Cottage: This property sleeps up to 2 people and is perfect for a romantic holiday. The cottage has a contemporary open-plan living/kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, hob, oven, blender, toaster, kettle and microwave. The relaxing living room comes with comfy sofas, an electric Optimist Stove, TV and DVD player. Just outside the front door is a small, sunny patio area with a table for 2 - perfect for morning coffee or Sun-downers. Guests have access to our gorgeous cottage garden which overlooks lush fields. An open staircase leads up to a spacious en suite bedroom which boasts exposed beams and enjoys glorious countryside views. The king bed can be unzipped into twins.
Pheasant Cottage: This charming property sleeps up to 4 people and is luxuriously furnished. The double-height, beamed sitting room comes with a TV and DVD player. A dining area has an antique gate leg table and seating for 4 people. Our well-equipped kitchen comes with everything to suit all your needs. Floor-to-ceiling French windows open onto the south-facing terrace with a dining table and chairs. The ideal place for a spot of al fresco dining. A ground floor bedroom comes with en suite facilities and French windows open onto the gardens. On the first floor, there is a master bedroom and bathroom which comes with original oak beams from the 17th Century. This king room overlooks the cottage garden and main grounds.
