Lake District Inn!
The Barbon Inn is a family-run pet-friendly 17th-century coaching inn, which started life originally as a farmhouse. We are conveniently situated halfway between the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the perfect location for exploring both.
The Coach Lamp Bar is the perfect place to relax in front of the wood burner with a drink or two and good company. We stock local ales, gins and rum, all well worth a tasting!
The courtyard beer garden offers a fabulous space for a drink or a meal in the glorious sunshine.
Some of our rooms enjoy stunning views over Barbon Low and Barbon High Fell.
The market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is roughly 3 miles away where there is a traditional market in the square every Thursday.
The famous Barbon Hill Climb is held in the nearby grounds of Barbon Manor. There are 2 race events for cars: the first in June and the second in July, these are very well attended with famous and local celebrities alike. There is also a motorbike event in June.
