The Old Stables consists of two luxuriously appointed holiday apartments located in a rural setting, just a short drive from Aberdovey in Gwynedd. Situated in the southern part of the Snowdonia National Park, this holiday accommodation serves as an ideal base for those seeking a relaxing breakaway.
Perched on a hillside overlooking the estuary, The Old Stables offers stunning views where guests can often spot buzzards, red kites, and an abundance of seabirds from the terraces. Each apartment features a large south-facing terrace designed to take full advantage of the breathtaking scenery. Access to private parking is secured through electrically operated main gates, and each apartment includes a designated parking space. The apartments are designed to a high specification, boasting underfloor heating, oak flooring, and luxurious light fittings.
Apartment 3:
This cosy holiday home sleeps 4 people, making it perfect for couples or a family getaway. It features a lounge/dining area with estuary views, a luxurious black leather suite, a chair with a matching footstool, and an Italian design glass dining table seating four. Doors open onto a 35-foot-long hardwood terrace equipped with a large sun parasol, all-weather wicker furniture seating up to eight people, and a gas barbecue. Bedroom 1 includes a super king divan bed, while Bedroom 2 has a king-size zip and divan bed and a fully tiled en suite bathroom with a shower tower offering multiple spray options.
Apartment 6:
Also sleeping 4, this apartment is accessed by slate steps leading down a terraced path to a large hardwood decked terrace that wraps around the entire front of the apartment. The 50-foot-long terrace ensures privacy and provides ample space for outdoor relaxation. The large lounge/kitchen/dining area opens onto the terrace, allowing for al fresco dining. Bedroom 1 includes a fitted wardrobe, luxurious zip and link beds, solid oak furniture, and a private door to the terrace with stunning estuary views. Bedroom 2 features a fitted mirrored wardrobe, oak drawers, and luxurious zip and link beds.
The Old Stables has a small area planted with seasonal herbs and vegetables in terracotta pots, which guests are welcome to use. Depending on the season, guests can find parsley, chives, bay, mint, thyme, rosemary, and oregano. A small watering can is provided for those who wish to tend to the plants.
