Clyn Glas Cottages in Cwmhiraeth offer wonderful self catering accommodation in Cwmhiraeth, near the small town of Llandysul in Carmarthenshire. Our cottages are in a truly stunning position, boasting amazing views of the valley.
The holiday cottages at Clyn Glas, Upper Cottage and Lower Cottage, have been adapted and extended from an old agricultural building that probably originally served as a cowshed. The cottages have been refurbished to a very high standard and both have their own gardens with BBQs and garden furniture.
The kitchens in both of the holiday cottages are well equipped offering everything you will need for a self-catering holiday including the following:
Crockery & cutlery.
Electric cooker.
Dishwasher.
Fridge.
Freezer.
Washing machine.
Microwave oven.
Toaster/sandwich toaster.
Kettle.
The living areas are spacious and cosy offering a TV, DVD player, CD/radio and comfortable seating. Upper Cottage comes with a gorgeous A-frame bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom. Lower Cottage has two spacious bedrooms, including a double and twin room. A sofa bed is in the lounge and both rooms share a first-floor bathroom and ground-floor WC.
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is located nearby and is very popular with walkers as is the beautiful town of Newport with its 9-hole golf course and yachting club. Travelling further down the coast one finds the smallest city in the UK, St. Davids which has a cathedral but is smaller than Newcastle Emlyn.
The nearby rivers Teifi, Towy, Cothi and Nevern offer excellent fishing for Salmon & Sewin. Day and weekly tickets are readily available and affordable ghillie services can be obtained. There is also canoeing available on the River Teifi. There are three steam railways nearby, The Rhiedol Steam Railway, Henllan Steam Railway and the steam railway at Carmarthen.
