Countryside Campsite!

Broadleigh Farm Park is a 9-acre caravan and camping park set in the beautiful South Devon countryside. Situated halfway between Paignton and Totnes, it is perfectly positioned to take advantage of all that South Devon has to offer. Nearby, there are numerous walking paths, and within half an hour, visitors can reach Dartmoor, a vast area of open countryside ideal for pleasure and solitude.

Broadleigh Farm is still a working farm, covering 400 acres, including 15 acres of cider apple orchards used to produce their own scrumpy cider. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times, and there is a separate dog walking field.

The caravan and campsite are composed of three separate fields: a 5-pitch CL site (Caravan Club Certified Location), an 80-pitch holiday park (main site), and a 50-pitch rally field. The rally field has a separate service block from the CL and main site, and the fields are linked in an L shape but separated by traditional 'Devon hedges'.

80-Pitch Caravan Park: Each pitch has mains hook-up with access to a service block that provides hot showers, hot and cold washing facilities, flush WC (including disabled and baby changing facilities), and a chemical disposal point. There are also cold water taps on-site close to the pitches.

50-Pitch Rally Field: This distinctly separate caravan rally field accommodates up to 50 pitches. It has its own service block with hot showers, WCs, and hot and cold washing facilities and is set away from the main caravan park.

Broadleigh Farm also features two washrooms specifically designed for people with limited mobility. These rooms have flat and level access and are equipped with a toilet, shower, and sink. The site also includes a shop, and during the summer months, a bar operates on Friday and Saturday nights.

The farm provides year-round and summer caravan storage, mainly for those who use the caravan site. Use of the caravan site is charged at standard rates, and booking during peak times is advisable. However, during the low season, the farm can tow caravans onto the site at short notice, convenient for those seeking last-minute breaks. For further information, visitors can contact the farm to discuss their requirements.

The land surrounding Broadleigh is farmed by the owners, with cattle grazing in fields adjacent to the caravan site and sheep grazing in the cider-apple orchards. The farm has a beef herd of 80 cows and a small flock of 80 sheep. They farm 400 acres in total, of which 90 acres are used to grow barley to feed the cattle in winter. Broadleigh is not a petting farm and does not offer hands-on farming experiences.

Broadleigh is close to the village of Stoke Gabriel on the River Dart, which has pubs, shops, and a Post Office. Only three miles away is Paignton with its sandy beaches and a wide variety of entertainment. Within a few minutes drive are several beaches safe for children, as well as numerous small bays and rocky coves. The park is near the small village of Stoke Gabriel, where there is a shop, pubs, and a Post Office. In the opposite direction, just a few minutes away, lie Paignton, Brixham, and Torquay, with many restaurants, bars, and shops. Slightly further afield are Plymouth and Exeter.
