Harter Cottage
Harter Cottage is an idyllic three-bedroom self-catering holiday cottage with stunning views of the surrounding Lake District fells. Situated within its own private garden beneath a beautiful eucalyptus tree, the living room and two of the three bedrooms offer views of the fells. The cottage features a spacious living and dining room with patio doors opening onto the garden and terrace area, perfect for outdoor dining on warm evenings. There is a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. It is dog-friendly, welcoming up to two well-behaved dogs by prior arrangement. Family-friendly amenities such as cots and high chairs are available on request.
Holiday Caravans
Parkgate Farm offers five fully insulated and centrally heated holiday caravans, each with a private raised decked patio area and lovely views towards the surrounding fells, ideal for outdoor dining.
- Whin Rigg (sleeps 6): The largest caravan with three bedrooms (one double with en-suite WC, and two twins) and a double sofa bed in the living room. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer.
- Irton Pike & Latterbarrow (sleeps 4): Each has two bedrooms (one double with en-suite WC, and one twin) and a small double sofa bed in the living room. They feature well-equipped kitchens with large fridge/freezers.
- Mecklin & Tinkler Craggs (sleeps 4): Each has two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a small double sofa bed in the living room. They offer spacious living areas with stunning views and private raised decked patios.
Luxury Glamping Cabins
The two-bedroom cabins include one double and one triple-bedded room, a shower room, and an open-plan living and kitchen area. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, and kettle.
- Esk, Irt & Mite (each sleeps 5 - max 4 adults): These bespoke holiday cabins feature a double bedroom, a triple bedroom, a shower room, and a kitchen and dining area with an electric wood burner for cooler evenings. Their raised elevation offers panoramic views of the surrounding fells, making them ideal for families and couples. Each cabin has an outdoor eating area and a BBQ, and they are fully insulated and heated for comfort year-round.
