Off-Grid Glamping!
Cliff Stud Retreat is a 220-acre stud farm located just outside Helmsley, at the base of the North York Moors. It is home to Freespirit Glamping, a luxury glamping site offering a serene and picturesque environment. Set off a quiet country lane that leads directly into the Moors, the site provides breathtaking views, making it an ideal spot to relax, enjoy a drink, roast marshmallows over the BBQ, and watch the sunset.
The retreat emphasises family, fun, and simple living amidst nature. The off-grid glamping site features tents equipped with a king-sized bed and two air beds, comfortably accommodating a family of four, with extra air beds available if needed. Each tent is outfitted with private shower facilities, a compost toilet, a drinking water supply, and washing-up facilities. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the hills, perfect for watching sunsets, stargazing, and soaking in the tranquillity of the North Yorkshire countryside.
Turning right from Freespirit Glamping leads guests into the heart of the beautiful North York Moors National Park. A left turn brings visitors to the ancient market town of Helmsley, known for its array of shops, pubs, cafes, and tourist attractions. The seaside towns of Whitby, Scarborough, and Robin Hood's Bay are all within an hour's drive, while the historic city of York, featuring attractions like York Minster and the Jorvik Viking Centre, is just 40 minutes away.
The retreat welcomes a maximum of two dogs per stay, with a fee of £25 per dog.
