Coombe View Farm Camp and Caravan Site in Branscombe offers basic camping facilities nestled in a peaceful and relaxing setting. Located close to Seaton, it serves as a great base for exploring all that Devon has to offer.
Situated on a charming working farm, Coombe View Farm is home to friendly animals, including a herd of native ponies and a flock of sheep. During the spring, guests might even see foals. This setting provides an ultimate rural experience for all visitors.
The campsite offers a traditional camping experience with ample space for children to play, opportunities to pet animals, and various spots to unwind. It welcomes caravans, motorhomes, camper vans, and tents. Facilities onsite include:
- Free WiFi (not guaranteed).
- Shower and toilet block with plenty of hot water.
- Disabled toilet/Baby changing/Family washroom.
- Washing up area.
- Information point.
- Electric hook-ups available on request (booking essential). During high season and weekends, there is a minimum 3-night stay for electric hook-up pitches.
- Communal campfire area (may be privately booked).
- Campfires are allowed elsewhere on the site, provided they are off the ground (e.g., fire baskets).
- Chemical disposal point.
- Communal fridge and freezer for ice blocks, etc.
- Dog waste disposal bins and free pick-up bags.
For a touch of luxury, guests can stay in one of the static caravans, Sea View or Bay View. Each caravan comes with a well-equipped kitchen, including a microwave, refrigerator, utensils, crockery, and ovenproof dishes. The living area features Freeview TV, and the bedrooms consist of a double and twin room, with an extra double bed available in the living room. Outside, garden furniture is provided for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.
Guests are asked to arrive between 2 pm and 6 pm, with arrivals outside these hours needing prior arrangement. No arrivals are permitted after 10 pm to avoid disturbing others.
Coombe View Farm is in a brilliant location, with essential amenities within 2 miles and the famous Jurassic Coast just 1 mile away. This part of the country offers stunning scenery, from rolling green hills to miles of sandy beaches. In the quaint village of Branscombe, there are lovely pubs, fabulous country walks, and the coastal footpath to Beer or Sidmouth via Salcombe Regis.
