Countryside Cottages!
Experience tranquillity and rejuvenation during a stay at one of the two self-catering holiday cottages situated on a working livestock farm in the scenic Nidderdale area of outstanding natural beauty. With numerous footpaths nearby, including a route leading to a local pub offering delicious meals, guests can fully immerse themselves in the serene countryside. Cyclists are warmly welcomed, with on-site cycle hire, repair services, and guided tours available for exploring the picturesque surroundings.
Barney's Cottage
Completed in 2016, Barney's Cottage is a charming barn conversion that sleeps 4 guests. It features underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs, all powered by a ground source heat pump and solar thermal hot water system. The front door opens into a spacious kitchen and dining area, illuminated by a large feature window that lets in plenty of natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. A separate triple-aspect lounge offers a cozy space to relax, and there is a convenient downstairs toilet with a wash basin. Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a 6-foot super king-sized bed and an en suite bathroom with a large shower, basin, toilet, and heated towel rail. The second bedroom is a twin room, also with its own en suite shower, basin, and toilet. Outside, guests can unwind in a seating area with a table and chairs, and parking for 2 cars is provided.
Robbie's Retreat
Also constructed in 2016, Robbie's Retreat accommodates 2 guests and is a single-storey property with a step-up into the bedroom. The space includes a dining table for 2, a comfortable sofa, and a wall-mounted TV. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge with a freezer compartment, while a washing machine is available in a separate block. The master bedroom features a 5-foot king-size bed, and there is a shower room with a basin and toilet. Outside, guests can enjoy a seating area with a table and chairs, and parking is provided.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a welcome pack of home baking, preserves, and beverages, adding a warm touch to their stay.
For those who prefer camping, the farm also offers a campsite accommodating 5 caravans and 10 tents, providing scenic views of Nidderdale. Exclusively for members of the Camping and Caravanning Club, the campsite offers a picturesque setting for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy.
