Located just 50 miles from London, 16 miles from Brighton, and 10 miles from Eastbourne and the sea, it offers an idyllic countryside setting that also serves as an excellent base for exploring East Sussex and the beautiful South Downs.
The estate offers four unique houses, each with its own character and style. All properties are tastefully furnished and equipped with a range of facilities to meet guests' needs.
Pekes Manor House is a 15th-century Grade II listed property spread over three floors, featuring nine bedrooms, three bathrooms, a disabled ground-floor WC, a large kitchen, three reception rooms, and a beautiful garden with an expansive lawn.
The Wing is an elegant Edwardian extension of the main house, offering a large bedroom with a king-size bed, a double sofa bed, and two single beds. The accommodation also includes a living/TV area with a wood-burning stove, a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, a bathroom, and a WC.
Tudor View is a charming bungalow near the Manor House, featuring one large double bedroom, a twin room, a double sofa bed, a single Z bed, a sitting room with lovely views, a kitchen/dining room, a bathroom, and a separate WC.
The Oast House is a fairy-tale property with four bedrooms: one double with a four-poster bed, one double (Zip & Lock) plus two singles, one triple, one single, and a double sofa bed, as well as one Z bed. It includes a large kitchen, a circular dining room, a circular lounge, a bathroom, a shower room, and two separate WCs.
The facilities at Pekes include a 24/7 indoor heated swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna, a tennis court, a children's play area, beautiful gardens, and a park. The estate is very rural and tranquil. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided for each guest, along with cleaning materials and other essentials. The surrounding area offers a variety of attractions and activities, including historical towns, quaint villages, seaside resorts, and opportunities for walking, cycling, horse riding, and golf.
