Rural Campsite!
Harry’s Field Campsite is a charming retreat located in one of the New Forest’s most picturesque hamlets. With decades of camping expertise and nearly fifty years of New Forest heritage, Harry’s Field Campsite reflects a deep passion for camping. Ranked 14th in the Sunday Times top 40 campsites, this family-owned destination has been cherished by generations of the Sheriff family, who have lived nearby for three generations.
The campsite offers flat, well-drained pitches that ensure a hassle-free setup for campers. Surrounded by hedgerows teeming with birdlife, the area also provides opportunities to spot deer, donkeys, and the iconic New Forest ponies. For those seeking a more luxurious experience, the campsite offers a range of bell tents, from standard to fully furnished options. These tents are perfect for campers who love the idea of camping but want to avoid the hassle of packing. Guests can simply arrive, unwind, and enjoy a relaxing stay in comfort.
The bell tents are conveniently located near grass tent pitches, and if guests are camping with friends on different types of pitches, arrangements can be made to place a bell tent closer to them upon request.
Cyclists are welcome, and the campsite is bike-friendly, emphasising tranquillity and responsible camping. As a result, large groups are not accommodated to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. Situated away from busy roads and nestled among quiet country lanes, nights at Harry’s Field are serenaded by the hoots of owls, though there’s no guaranteed remedy for the occasional snoring husband!
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome with prior arrangement, and responsible pet ownership is appreciated, with a fee of £5 per dog, per stay.
Onsite, guests can enjoy a pizza truck and a barista offering freshly brewed coffee and a selection of pastries in the morning. Additionally, a horsebox provides a choice of cocktails for those looking to unwind in style.
