The Area

Duffus Estate is ideally located for exploring Moray, just five minutes from the sandy beaches of the Moray Firth, often ranked among the top 12 beaches in the world by National Geographic Society’s ‘Traveller’ magazine. Visitors may even spot bottlenose dolphins or minke whales. Moray is renowned for its malt whisky distilleries, boasting more than half of Scotland’s total. Visiting during whisky festivals in May and September or touring the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail is highly recommended. With opportunities for golf, walking, cycling, bird watching, and exploring impressive ruins like Duffus Castle, St Peter’s Kirk, and Spynie Palace, there is plenty to keep guests entertained.
