Working Farm Campsite!
Fairfields Farm Caravan and Camping Park, located in Westham, East Sussex, is an exclusive adult-only campsite catering to touring caravans, motorhomes, and tents. Situated on a working farm near Pevensey, the surrounding land is primarily dedicated to grazing, offering a peaceful rural setting.
The park features a well-maintained toilet block with wash-hand basins, toilets, and showers. A laundry room is available with two deep sinks for handwashing, as well as a washing machine and dryer. There is also a covered area with four sinks for washing dishes. An additional shower block provides ample individual cubicles for washing and showering, along with a purpose-built facility for disabled guests. Use of all these facilities, including hot water and showers, is included in the campsite fees, with a nominal charge for the washing machine and dryer.
The site offers 60 pitches spread across approximately 4 acres of grassland. Made-up roadways provide easy access to all areas of the park. A resident warden oversees the site, and access is controlled, with gates closing at 10:30 pm, though parking is available for late arrivals. Many of the pitches offer electric hook-ups for added comfort. For dog owners, the site includes a designated dog exercise field and an enclosed area where dogs can be let off the lead.
The campsite also features a scenic walk leading away from the camping area, offering a meadow-like setting for campers, walkers, and pet owners. Along the walk, visitors can enjoy the duck pond, peacock house, and chicken enclosure. In adjacent fields, guests may spot goats, pigs, and ponies. The walk loops around a fishing lake stocked with roach, rudd, perch, tench, and carp. Use of the lake is free for campsite residents, but an Environment Agency fishing license is required.
Due to the proximity of livestock, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times throughout the park.
