Located near the charming village of Cenarth in West Wales, Argoed Meadows Caravan and Camping Site offers 30 pitches, each equipped with 16-amp electric hook-ups. The site includes seven hardstanding pitches and features a high-quality toilet block, which has earned the Loo of the Year award.
The site welcomes touring caravans, tents, and campervans, making it an ideal destination for families and pet owners. Argoed Meadows is equipped with a purpose-built toilet and shower block, including facilities for disabled guests to ensure comfort for all. Additional amenities include a laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, along with a freezer and a BT payphone. Hairdryers, shaving points, water taps, and a chemical toilet disposal point are also available, and Calor Gas bottles are sold on-site. The facilities are regularly cleaned and inspected to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
For those seeking more comfort, the site also offers a holiday caravan and a shepherd's hut, available for booking upon enquiry.
The picturesque village of Cenarth is famous for its leaping salmon waterfalls and the River Teifi, which flows over rocks and boulders on its journey to Cardigan Bay. Visitors can explore the village's 17th-century flour mill and a historic 200-year-old bridge featuring unique stone holes in its design. Argoed Meadows is just 200 yards from the famous waterfalls, with the best salmon runs visible in September and October. Anglers can fish with a rod licence from 1 April to 17 October, with licences available in the village.
Cenarth, a short walk away, provides all the essentials for a touring holiday, including two pubs serving food, tearooms, a Post Office, and a petrol station with a Nisa mini-supermarket that stocks groceries, drinks, newspapers, and confectionery.
Dogs are welcome at Argoed Meadows, stay free of charge, but must be kept on a lead at all times.
