Cornish Cottages!
The 19th Acre, located along the National Trust coastal pathway between Porthtowan and Chapel Porth, is the perfect destination for a Cornish adventure. Offering two charming cottages, Swallows and Skylarks, it’s an ideal spot for surfers, walkers, and those keen to explore the beauty of Cornwall. Whether visitors want to surf at Porthtowan, play golf at Perranporth, or hike along the scenic coastal path, there are plenty of activities to enjoy with friends and family.
Skylarks can comfortably accommodate five guests, featuring a double bedroom and a second bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed. The cottage boasts a spacious lounge and dining area with lovely countryside views. It is fully equipped with a TV, DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, free Wi-Fi, and storage space for surfboards and buggies. Additionally, there is an outdoor hose for rinsing wetsuits after a day of surfing.
Swallows is nearly identical to Skylarks, sleeping four guests with the option to set up for five if needed.
Both cottages share access to a large patio and garden area, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine or enjoying games like football or croquet on the lawn. The patio provides an inviting space to unwind.
A 10-minute walk from the cottages leads to breathtaking cliff-top views overlooking Chapel Porth’s surfing beach. A nearby pub is within walking distance, while a short drive takes guests to the lively bars, cafés, and restaurants in Porthtowan, St Agnes, Truro, and Mt Hawke. For shopping, Truro offers a range of local shops, while St Agnes and Porthtowan are perfect for gift shopping or leisurely browsing. Porthtowan Beach is just a 15-minute walk away, crossing through the iconic landscapes of 'Poldark' country.
