Glamping Village!
Oaker Wood is an outdoor activity and glamping centre set within 175 acres of mature woodland in Herefordshire, near the Welsh border. Specialising in group glamping for 12 to 120 people, it’s an ideal destination for family reunions, parties, stag and hen weekends, rugby sports tours, corporate retreats, and school residential trips.
The centre features two separate glamping villages, offering group exclusivity in one of the villages for a minimum of 12 people. Each village is fully equipped with its own facilities, including a covered dining area, cooking amenities, a fire circle, and a barbecue hut.
The accommodation consists of wooden glamping pods, each sleeping up to 8 people in bunk beds with sheets provided. Guests are asked to bring their own sleeping bags, duvets, and pillows. The pods are equipped with electric lights and heaters, making them suitable for colder months. Heated showers and toilets are available on-site for added comfort.
Each village includes a central dining and cooking cabin, complete with all necessary cooking equipment, fridges, a gas oven, barbecue, microwave, toaster, and kettle. The centrepiece of each site is a fire circle with fixed seating, perfect for gathering around with the group. School and youth residentials, as well as corporate camps, can be either catered or self-catered, while stag and hen weekends, and family or friend glamping groups, are self-catered.
Electric car charging is available for an additional cost, and guests are advised to inquire when booking. With limited mobile signal, Oaker Wood offers a peaceful retreat where guests can truly disconnect.
Group bookings (minimum of 12 people) can also include a variety of outdoor activities available on-site, such as quad bike trekking, paintball, high rope adventures, climbing, rafting, clay pigeon shooting, target shooting, and a low rope assault course, all within easy reach.
